A Passion for Precision

Dr. Jane S. Han, MD

Dr. Jane S. Han is an MIT-educated, fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB), Complex GI, and Foregut Surgery. She is currently completing her HPB fellowship at AdventHealth Tampa under Drs. Sharona Ross and Iswanto Sucandy, with an almost exclusively robotic program.

With hands-on training across community and academic settings — including NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn — Dr. Han brings versatility in open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques. Her additional fellowship in Surgical Critical Care makes her a well-rounded surgeon who enhances perioperative care in unexpected circumstances.

Inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a medical student, Dr. Han is driven by compassionate, patient-centered care. Her research spans bench work, animal studies, human subject research, and clinical outcomes — including leading a project to design AI models adaptable to small clinical datasets.
